Project overview
A space shaped around
how life unfolds.
Colour House imagines a small hospitality space inside a restored Puducherry building. Its original arches and generous windows establish a strong rhythm that the new interior deliberately keeps visible.
Reflective surfaces, saturated artwork and movable furniture introduce a contemporary layer without imitating the heritage shell. The rooms can shift easily between quiet daytime use and more animated evening gatherings.

Photography placeholders establish the intended editorial rhythm. Final imagery can be reordered to tell the project story naturally.
Design notes
The decisions
behind the rooms.
- 01
The brief
Create a memorable hospitality concept that respects an existing heritage structure while feeling unmistakably contemporary.
- 02
Spatial approach
New elements remain freestanding and reversible, allowing the original walls, arches and openings to retain their presence.
- 03
Material character
Polished metal, coloured glass, pigmented plaster and patterned upholstery respond playfully to the building's filtered daylight.
