Project overview
A space shaped around
how life unfolds.
Gallery House was designed around a family collection accumulated across generations. Rather than treating the work as decoration, the architecture establishes a measured sequence of walls, niches and pools of light for objects to inhabit.
New interventions sit comfortably beside inherited furniture. The result feels collected rather than coordinated, with each room offering its own atmosphere while belonging to the same house.

Light, material
and lived detail.
Photography placeholders establish the intended editorial rhythm. Final imagery can be reordered to tell the project story naturally.
Design notes
The decisions
behind the rooms.
- 01
The brief
Make room for art, books and inherited furniture while supporting the daily rhythms of three generations.
- 02
Spatial approach
Long views connect the principal rooms, with smaller thresholds and window seats creating moments of pause between them.
- 03
Material character
Lime-washed walls, patterned textiles, dark timber and aged brass form a warm backdrop for the collection.
