Project overview
A space shaped around
how life unfolds.
Sunday Room takes its name from the clients' favourite part of the week: a slow morning with music, newspapers and friends arriving without ceremony. The home needed to feel bright, forgiving and easy to rearrange.
Colour is used as atmosphere rather than accent. A pale blue envelope, ochre seating and natural timber bring optimism to the central room, while durable finishes support the energy of a young family.

Photography placeholders establish the intended editorial rhythm. Final imagery can be reordered to tell the project story naturally.
Design notes
The decisions
behind the rooms.
- 01
The brief
Design a relaxed family interior that feels characterful, durable and welcoming from morning to evening.
- 02
Spatial approach
Loose furniture and a generous central rug define the social zone without limiting how the room can change over time.
- 03
Material character
Powder blue, ochre, soft grey, cane and pale wood create a sunlit palette with enough contrast to feel lively.
